The family-run farm Niedereggerhof at Plan de Corones knows exactly what families need on holiday and that mom and dad for once do not want to have to take care of everything. While the parents relax on the sunny terrace, the kids may feed cows, chickens and rabbits, or romp and play freely on the private playground.

Skiing fun for young and old

In the winter, the ski school in Valdaora with the ski kindergarten offers full-time day care for children on the slopes. On the magic carpet or at the Kids Safety Park, two ski slopes for children, kids from three years may discover how much fun the winter can be. Broom hockey, curling and “Lattlschießen” are popular winter games on the ice rink in Valdaora, located about 6 km from the farm Niedereggerhof. A special highlight once a week is the ski show at the valley station Valdaora-Gassl (3 km). There, you may also enjoy mulled wine and delicious punch for children to warm up your cold hands.

Experience nature

Look at these animals crawling there! What are they? These and many other questions find an answer during the family tours in the Nature Park Fanes-Sennes-Braies, where you can even become a certified Dolomiti Ranger. Accompanied by a nature park supervisor, the entire family will follow the trails of wildlife. Maybe you will even encounter a red deer, eagles and marmots – a special experience for young and old, one you will never forget. Also located in the forest at Plan de Corones – the exciting archery trail to train inner peace and accuracy.
